78"x96"

This is going to be my FIRST EVER painting that I've done for myself.  Today was the first day that I started working on it.  Once it is stretched, it will be 78"x96"...which is the largest painting I've ever done!

bond, james bond

For the past month and a half I have been working very steadily every day on a commission for the Broccolis.  The painting is set to hang in their living room in Los Angeles.  The piece is framed and packaged to ready to ship out to  LA tomorrow.  I have decided not to reveal the whole painting until it is installed and published, but I wanted to give you all a small preview of sections of the painting.  Scroll down to catch a preview of her painting.

I have to say, I am truly sad to see this painting go.  I have literally put blood and sweat into this painting...and came very close to tears (I guess there is still time for the tears to come-- and it very well might happen when I see the crate loaded onto the freight truck tomorrow).  It was quite a journey, but I am happy she is going to such a wonderful home!  Maybe I'll get to see her hanging in her new home one day.
